Decoration Ideas for a Saint Patrick's Day Celebration of Ireland

  • Shamrocks - Green paper shamrocks may be purchased or cut out by hand. They can be purchased from Amazon online in the form of strings of lights or green lights in a shamrock shape. Party stores will generally carry paper shamrock garlands, as well.
  • Leprechauns - Paper cut-outs or ceramic garden leprechauns can liven up a party. Kids can have fun coloring pictures of these tricky fellow. Supply coloring sheets or paper with markers or crayons.
  • Rainbows - Colorful rainbows can be made of rolls of crepe paper streamers, out of large sheets of colorful butcher paper (available at teacher supply stores), or purchased at party stores.
  • Pots of Gold - Paper pots may be made of black paper and put at the end of rainbows or plastic kettles can be found at craft and party shops and filled with party treats (like potato chips) or chocolate gold coins.
  • Maps of Ireland - Print maps from online sites and / or have coloring pages available for children.
